I own and have used this product.
These wraps are really comfortable and look cool. I use them on my heavy bag and the support is awesome! My wrists feel rock solid. You should wrap above the wrist on to the forearm, as doing so will support your wrists better, rather than if you were to go no higher than the wrist.
I haven't really had any problems with durability yet.
I would highly recommend these.

Since I bought my first 2 pairs (6 years ago), they've improved the thumb-loop to make it shorter and thicker. I now have 4 pairs. I prefer the elastic over the non-stretch type handwraps because you can selectively tighten different phases of the wrapping process.
